Steve Hunter has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Steve began their career as a Design/Test Engineer Intern at Warn Industries in 1997, where they developed and performed component testing on new and existing products. Steve also supported the implementation, integration, and testing of manufacturing equipment.
In 1998, Steve worked as a Design/Manufacturing Engineer Intern at Planar Systems, where they designed and built an automated oil fill test station. Steve also performed Design of Experiments (DOEs) on new tooling changes and designed new tooling libraries.
In 1999, Steve joined Accu-Fab, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer, where they worked until 2001.
Starting from 2001, Steve worked at ATS Automation Tooling Systems for over 14 years. Steve held various roles at the company, including Software Engineer, Senior Mechanical Engineer, and Engineering IT Manager.
In 2015, Steve joined World Precision Manufacture Co.,Ltd as a Senior Automation Engineer. Steve later became the North America R&D Department Manager in 2016.
Steve'smost recent position is Senior Controls Engineer at Andrews-Cooper, which they started in 2017.
Steve Hunter attended Oregon State University from 1994 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Computer Science focusing on Design and Controls.
