Jamie Kates, MHA, CPCS

Jamie Kates, MHA, CPCS has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. They are currently working at Andros as a Senior Compliance Manager, and previously held the role of Compliance Manager at the same company. In addition, Jamie has worked at the NYS Association of Medical Staff Services as a Member At Large. Prior to that, they worked at Northwell Health, starting as a Credentialing Specialist and later moving up to the role of Credentialing Coordinator. In their role as Credentialing Specialist, Jamie ensured initial credentialing of healthcare providers was conducted according to organizational policies and Joint Commission Standards. They also worked at Winthrop-University Hospital as a Credentialing Specialist, where they processed credentialing applications and assisted the public with doctor referral and hospital information.

Jamie Kates, MHA, CPCS, obtained a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Hofstra University, completing the program from 2013 to 2016. Prior to this, Jamie attended the University at Buffalo from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Human Resources Management and Services. Additionally, Jamie holds the certifications of CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) from the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS), which they obtained in October 2020.
