Heath Bloch has extensive experience in the healthcare and social services sectors. Heath currently serves as the President & Chief Executive Officer of ANDRUS, a position they assumed in May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at New York University as a Part-Time Adjunct Professor, teaching Advanced Social Policy in Mental Health from 2005 to 2021. During their time at NYU, they developed and executed curriculum, customized presentations, and maintained records.

From 2016 to 2021, Bloch held the role of Executive Vice President and COO at SCO Family of Services, where they led the organization's transformation into an integrated system of care. Heath secured significant government support and oversaw the operations of multiple programs and sites.

Before joining SCO Family of Services, Bloch was the Assistant Executive Director at The Shield Institute from 2012 to 2016. In this role, they provided strategic direction and oversight for an organization dedicated to helping individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.

From 2010 to 2012, Bloch served as the Director of Pride of Judea Community Services at the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services, Inc. Heath implemented strategies to enhance quality of care and reduce budget deficits, and collaborated with staff and community partners to create a recovery-oriented model of care.

Prior to that, Bloch worked at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as the Director of Community Partnerships - Bureau of Tobacco Control from 2008 to 2009. Heath collaborated with partners to plan and manage tobacco cessation programs.

At Metropolitan Hospital Center, Bloch served as the Associate Director of Behavioral Health Services from 1999 to 2007. Heath coordinated operations across various behavioral health services and utilized their decision-making skills to ensure operational effectiveness and achieve program outcomes.

Heath Bloch has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Services and Psychology from Northeastern University, which they earned from 1992 until 1997. Heath then pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at New York University, completing it in 1999. In 2011, they obtained an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Social Work from New York University. During the same year, they also engaged in the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York (JCRC-NY) Community Connections Fellowship program, focusing on leadership development. From 2011 to 2015, Bloch pursued a PhD (ABD) in Clinical Social Work at New York University. In 2016, they were a Belle and Strelle Executive Leadership Fellow at Hunter College, specializing in Leadership Development. Additionally, they were a Global Justice Fellow with the American Jewish World Service (AJWS) in 1997.
