Matt Zipfel

Matt Zipfel is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Vice President and Head of Mechanical Engineering at Anduril Industries since September 2020. Prior to this role, Matt Zipfel had an extensive tenure at SpaceX from August 2006 to September 2020, where responsibilities included Director and various managerial positions in Structures Engineering. Earlier in Matt Zipfel's career, experience also included a role as Engineer, level II at Boeing from August 2005 to August 2006. Educational qualifications consist of a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Systems Engineering (2004-2005) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (2000-2004), both obtained from Cornell University.
