Pete Quinn Ao Csc

Vice President Strategy, Australia & The Asia Pacific at Anduril Industries

Pete Quinn AO CSC has a diverse work experience in the defense industry. Pete started their career in the Royal Australian Navy in 1993 and held various roles including Warfare Officer and Officer In Charge of the Maritime Warfare Training Centre. In 2000, they became the Commanding Officer of HMAS SYDNEY and later served as the Head of Combat Systems and Executive Officer of HMAS ADELAIDE. In 2006, they joined the Capability Development Group as the Director of Maritime Combat Development. From 2009 to 2010, they were the Commanding Officer of HMAS ANZAC. In 2011, they became the Director General of Navy Capability, Transition, and Sustainment. Pete then worked for the Australian Defence Force as the Head of Joint Capability Coordination and later as the Head of Joint Capability Management and Integration. From 2017 to 2022, they served as the Head of Navy Capability in the Royal Australian Navy. Currently, they are the Vice President of Strategy for Australia & the Asia Pacific at Anduril Industries.

Pete Quinn AO CSC holds a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Studies from Deakin University, which they completed in 2011. In 2015 and 2016, they attended the University of Melbourne - Ormond College where they participated in the Centre for Ethical Leadership - Vincent Fairfax Fellowship program, focusing on Ethical Leadership. In 2018, they completed an Executive Program in Exponential Technologies at Singularity University. In 2014, they also completed a Strategic Thinking Course at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Pete Quinn is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
