Prof. John B. Hunt

Prof. John B. Hunt currently holds multiple leadership positions, including Director at Diverse Cymru, Governor at Coleg y Cymoedd, and Welsh Government appointee to the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority. Additionally, Prof. Hunt serves as a Trustee for Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales, a Councillor for Blaenavon Town Council, and a Director for Torfaen Museum Trust Limited. Previously, Prof. Hunt held ambassadorship at Climate Cymru and directorship at FareShare Cymru while also serving as Vice Chair for the Torfaen Access Forum. With an academic background that includes a PhD in Quaternary Climatostratigraphy and Volcanology from The University of Edinburgh and a degree in Physical Geography and Geology from the University of Wales, Cardiff, Prof. Hunt brings extensive expertise in the fields of geology and environmental science to these roles.
