Kevin Sluss

Kevin is the Chief Risk Officer at Angel Oak Capital. He oversees all risk management functions for the firm and chairs Angel Oak’s Risk Management and Valuation Committee.

Kevin is a native of Atlanta with over 10 years of experience in financial services encompassing market risk management, credit loss estimation, CMBS originations, trading and capital markets, and alternative investment stress testing.

Kevin holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Georgia Tech, master’s degrees in Risk Management and Insurance and Actuarial Science from the Georgia State University Robinson College of Business, and an M.B.A. from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business. In addition, Kevin holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation and is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
