Marti Coplai

Marti Coplai joined Angela Hospice in October 2015 as Executive Director, before becoming President and CEO in March of 2019. Prior to working with Angela Hospice, Coplai was Associate Executive Director for Evangelical Homes of Michigan, and had previous experience with Glacier Hills and Arbor Hospice. A licensed Nursing Home Administrator with the State of Michigan, Coplai has worked in senior living and hospice services for the last 15 years, with a special emphasis on end-of-life care, dementia care, and leading culture transformation. A graduate of Michigan State University, Coplai intentionally transitioned from a career in marketing to healthcare after becoming a hospice volunteer in 2001. In 2009 she was certified as a Master Trainer in the Best Friends™ Approach to Dementia Care, and in 2012 she was consecrated as a Diakonal Minister by the Christian Health and Human Services Ministry. Marti serves on the advisory board for The Senior Alliance and the Catholic Funeral and Cemetery Council for the Archdiocese of Detroit.
