Michela Procaccini M.D.

Michela Procaccini MD has over 20 years of work experience in the medical affairs field. Michela started their career at MAPROMED as the HealthCare Director in 1999. Michela then transitioned to Pfizer, where they held various roles as a Medical Advisor and Evidence Based Medicine consultant from 1998 to 2012. After that, they joined Abbott as the Head EPD Medical Affairs, where they led the overall strategy on medical education, publications, and other medical affairs initiatives. Michela also designed and improved Abbott Italy Medical Department systems and processes. From 2015 to 2018, Michela worked at Mylan as the Head of Medical Affairs Italy and Medical Director, overseeing the overall strategy and budget for medical affairs. In 2018, they took on roles at Kedrion Biopharma and Angelini as the Medical Affairs Director for Italy and EMEA, respectively.

Michela Procaccini MD earned a degree in medicina e chirurgia from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore between 1987 and 1993. Following that, they obtained a diploma in Pediatria from the same university between 1993 and 1997.
