Director, Information Technology Services at Anglicare Victoria

Dean Mills is the current Director of Information Technology Services at Anglicare Victoria. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Information Officer at World Vision Australia from May 2009 to May 2016. In this role, they were responsible for formulating and executing IT strategy aligned to business strategy, as well as mobilizing strategic change and ensuring operational efficiencies. Dean also established strong rapport with business and IT leaders to ensure effective delivery and improve the relationship between IT and the Business Units.

Mills began their career at World Vision Australia in June 2007 as the Infrastructure and Application Services Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the IT Infrastructure and Application Services teams. Dean also oversaw the development and implementation of strategies for improving service delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Mills has a deep understanding of IT operations and how to optimize them to achieve business objectives. Dean is a highly capable leader with a commitment to excellence. Dean Mills attended Elwood High School and then went on to study for a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Business/Managerial Economics at Elwood high school. After that, they completed a Masters in Computer Science at Monash University, specializing in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management.

Their manager is Paul McDonald, CEO. They work with Kirsty Simpson - Director, Strategic Communications & Marketing, Gaye Crichton - Director, People & Culture, and Andrea Dwyer - Director, Project Development & Innovation.
