Giri Shankar, PMP, currently serves as Manager - Projects & Programs at IXS Coatings, where responsibilities include developing a next-generation MES application and establishing a PMO to enhance IT operations. As the Founder/Proprietor of Nex-EL Partners, Giri provides expert services in product development across various sectors, including engineering and quality management. Previous experience encompasses roles such as Contract Program Manager at Rivian and Ride Engineering Liaison at Walt Disney Imagineering, where Giri contributed to the development of autonomous amusement ride vehicles and collaborated with global teams to ensure project success. Giri's extensive background also includes a tenure as Team Leader/Engineering Manager at Walt Disney World, managing engineering teams for ride and show projects, and positions at Chrysler Group LLC in vehicle engineering and manufacturing. Giri holds an MBA in Strategy & Operations from the University of Michigan and multiple degrees, including an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University.
