Elvis Ndah has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Elvis started their career as a Web Master at Mawum Holdings SA in 2007 and worked there until 2009. In 2012, Elvis worked as a Bioinformatics Research Assistant at DERI. Following that, they joined VIB, Medical Biotechnology Center, University of Gent in 2013 and worked as a Bioinformatics Researcher (PhD Researcher) until 2017. Elvis then transitioned to work as a Data Scientist at Bisnode Belgium from January 2018 to September 2019. In 2019, they joined Anju Software as a Data Scientist and worked there until 2022. Alongside their work, Elvis also worked as a Guest Lecturer at The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) from December 2020 onwards. Currently, they are serving as a Partner, Machine Learning Engineering, and Data Scientist at NDAH-E Analytics B.V. starting from December 2022. Additionally, Elvis had a role as a Data Science Consultant at Streamhub from September 2020 to February 2021.
Elvis Ndah began their education at the University of Buea, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from 2002 to 2006. Elvis then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Statistics from UHasselt between 2009 and 2011.
In 2011-2012, Elvis attended KU Leuven, where they completed an Advanced Master of Sciences program in Artificial Intelligence. Following this, from 2013 to 2017, they enrolled at Ghent University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioinformatics.
Alongside their formal education, Elvis Ndah has also obtained various certifications. In August 2017, they received the SAS Base Programming for SAS 9 certification from SAS. In January 2019, they completed the Analyzing your data with Power BI for BI Professionals certification from U2U Training. Their most recent certification, acquired in February 2022, is the Machine Learning Engineering for Production (MLOps) certification from Coursera.
