Laurence P. Birch

Laurence (Larry) P. Birch is the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Anju Software. Larry brings over 30 years of experience in SaaS and Life Science Technologies (pharma/biotech, medical device, clinical research, and clinical data management).

He has held leadership positions in general management and finance, focusing on delivering optimal corporate strategy solutions to drive growth, performance and customer satisfaction. Mr. Birch started his career at Baxter Healthcare and EDS where he held senior finance and general management positions. Mr. Birch was also CEO of Aksys, Inc (Home Dialysis), NeoPharm Inc (BioTech (oncology and pulmonary fibrosis)), and Datatrak Inc. (Clinical data management solution for clinical drug/device development).

He serves on the Board of Directors of School Health, the largest supplier of products and technologies to school nursing and PE programs and is an Executive Advisor to multiple companies in the life science technologies market. He is a member of the Science Commercialization Advisor committee at the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Chicago and is a Mentor at Matter Chicago, a Life Science Incubator and Industry Mentor for the National Science Foundation. Larry is also a member of the Faculty at the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Larry earned an MBA and MM degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
