Peter Suggate

Peter Suggate has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Peter is currently working at Anjuna Security as a Software Engineering Team Lead, leading a team in the development of next-gen security management UI and interactive visualizations for their data privacy software product. Peter also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Anjuna Security before taking on their current role.

Prior to their role at Anjuna Security, Peter worked as a Full-stack Freelance Software Developer at Toptal. Peter also had experience at ADInstruments, where they served as a Software Architect and later as an R&D Research Manager, overseeing a team of 9 in maintaining and extending a time-series data acquisition and analysis platform for Life Science researchers.

Peter's earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at kuraCloud, where they focused on frontend development for a cloud-based eLearning platform, and at ADInstruments as a LabChart Co-ordinator and Software Engineer, developing desktop software for time series data analysis.

Before their time at ADInstruments, Peter worked at SmartMedia Solutions as a Software Developer, where they focused on extending an online desktop publishing platform using technologies such as C#, ASP .NET, and SQL Server.

Peter Suggate attended the University of Otago from 2000 to 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours in Computer Science.
