Fernando Morales

Fernando Morales has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Fernando currently works at Annalect as a Business Lead since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at ALMA from April 2014 to March 2021, where they served as the Science Archive Content Manager. In this role, they were responsible for processing astronomical data, ensuring quality control and data curation, and leading the development of tools for the ALMA Pipeline. Before ALMA, Fernando worked at ALMA Observatory / AUI as an Archive Operator from August 2010 to February 2014. Fernando also has experience as a System Administrator and Part-time Academic Instructor at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso from March 2006 to August 2010. Additionally, they worked as a System Administrator at Soluciones Open Source LTDA from April 2008 to February 2010 and as a Part-time Academic Instructor at Universidad de Valparaíso from March 2009 to July 2009.

Fernando Morales obtained their Master's degree in Data Science from the Facultad de Ingeniería y Ciencias de la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez between the years 2019 and 2022. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2004, they pursued a degree in Computer Science as an Ingeniero de ejecución en Informática from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
