Kyle B.

Kyle Bateman has a diverse work experience background in the healthcare industry. Kyle is currently working as a Community Health Nurse at Anne Arundel County Department of Health since February 2021. Prior to this, from 2017 to January 2021, they held the position of Director of Nursing and Delegating Nurse at Athelas Institute, Inc. Kyle also worked as a Nursing Supervisor and Delegating Nurse/Case Manager at The Arc of Howard County from August 2016 to June 2017 and August 2016 to November 2016, respectively. In 2015, they worked as a CVICU-RN at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, and from 2013 to 2015, they were a CV-ICU RN at Good Samaritan Hospital. In addition, they gained research experience as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati from August 2013 to January 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as an RN at Ochsner Medical Center from December 2011 to June 2013. Prior to entering the healthcare industry, they served as a Construction Manager at Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast from 2006 to 2008.

Kyle Bateman earned a Master's degree in Nursing Informatics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of South Alabama from 2008 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Kyle Bateman obtained the following: Informatics Nursing (RN-BC) from ANCC in January 2022, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association in December 2021, Delegating Nurse / Case Manager from the Maryland Board of Nursing in August 2016, Salesforce Certified Associate from Salesforce in May 2023, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in June 2022.
