Leo Avina

Leo Avina has extensive work experience in the mortgage industry. Leo started their career at LSI MORTGAGE PLUS as a Senior Underwriter from August 2006 to February 2014. Leo then joined EPM, where they held various roles such as Vice President of Credit Risk from March 2014 to July 2019, Mortgage Underwriter from July 2019 to December 2021, and AVP of Credit & Underwriting from March 2014 to June 2023. Currently, Leo Avina works as the Divisional Director of Operations at Family First Funding LLC since June 2023.

Leo Avina attended Cal State Fullerton from 1998 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations. In September 2020, they also obtained the Certified Residential Underwriter (CRU) Designation - Level III from the Mortgage Bankers Association.
