Tobias Heindel has worked in a variety of roles in the past 15 years. In 2007, they began as a Research Assistant (progetto Art) at the University of Pisa. Tobias then worked as a PostDoc at Universit\u00e9 Paris 13 in 2010, followed by a Post-Doc at CEA in 2011. In 2013, they worked as a Post-Doc at both the University of Edinburgh and Ecole Polytechnique. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Marie Curie Fellow (IEF PEOPLE) at K\u00f8benhavns Universitet, where they worked on solving generalizations of the Biochemical Master Equation. Tobias then moved on to Leipzig University as a Postdoctoral Researcher in 2017, followed by a Research Scholar at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2018. Finally, they currently work as a Research Engineer at Anoma since 2022.
Tobias Heindel began their educational journey in 1997, when they attended The Philipp University of Marburg, where they earned a Vordiplom (~Bachelor) in Computer Science and Philosophy. In 2006, they enrolled in the University of Duisburg-Essen, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science in 2009. Tobias also attended Schloß Dagstuhl in 2004, but did not receive any certification or degree.
