Managing Partner, Chief Strategy Officer at Anomaly

Laura is the Chief Strategy Officer of Anomaly Toronto, but a 6-year Anomaly vet from the New York office.

At Anomaly, Laura leads strategic thinking to create effective solutions that impact business results and culture. Most recently, she led the strategic direction for The Hershey Company's most iconic brands: Reese's, Kit Kat, Jolly Rancher, and PayDay. Most notably, Laura's strategic thinking on Jolly Rancher transformed a declining category and business resulting in a Gold Media Effie for effectiveness.

She also led strategy for Panera, turning the brand into a change agency for the food industry at-large. Other notable mentions include creating a performance-driven communication strategy for the new DTC car brand Vroom, 3 U.S. Super Bowl Wins for Budweiser as well as its first Global Brand Campaign and 2 LGBTQ Pride Initiatives for YouTube which was awarded a Webby's People Choice Award.

Laura approaches business and brand problems with a total strategy mindset to ensure brands are benefiting from innovation, communication and digital strategy. She enjoys a tough challenge and returning icons back to their rightful position in culture. Before joining Anomaly, Laura was a Global Strategy Director at Grey working across an extensive P&G portfolio globally, which included making Febreze P&G's fastest growing billion dollar brand. Her category experience at Grey expanded well beyond CPG to include retail, QSR and healthcare.

Laura went to undergrad at Penn State and is a big college football fan and has her Masters in Communication with a focus on research and comms theory from Boston University. She has also spent time studying and working in London. Laura is a proud Pennsylvanian, enjoys playing guitar and dive bars, is married to an Australian, and is currently discovering all that Canada has to offer.
