Vice President of Laboratory Operations at Anpac Bio

Sharon (Sherry) V. worked as the Vice President of Laboratory Operations at Anpac Bio Technology, USA from 2016 onwards. In this role, they were responsible for managing a seven-person team in two lab locations, overseeing all laboratory operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting research studies, managing the laboratory information management system (LIMS), and completing protocol writing for research projects and FDA approval process. Additionally, they recruited Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and Principal Investigators (PI) for research studies.

Prior to this role, Sharon worked as a Teacher at various schools from 2001 to 2016.

Sharon (Sherry) V. has a diverse education history that spans several decades. Sharon (Sherry) began their education journey at Pennsylvania College of Technology, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Landscape/Plant Production Technology from 1981 to 1983. Following this, they enrolled at Penn State University and completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agriculture Science from 1985 to 1989.

In 2004 and 2005, Sharon pursued further education at Mercyhurst University and obtained a Science Teaching Certification with a focus on Biological Science and General Science. This certification allowed their to teach these subjects in a classroom setting.

Continuing their passion for education, Sharon pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Multidisciplinary Education from Buffalo State University starting in 2011 and completing it in 2016. This advanced degree provided their with a strong foundation in various educational disciplines, enhancing their teaching skills.

Throughout their educational journey, Sharon also obtained multiple certifications in various subjects. These certifications include "Bill George on Self-Awareness, Authenticity, and Leadership" from LinkedIn obtained in March 2021, "BSCS/NABT/HHMI Leadership Training" from BSCS, National Association of Biology Teachers, Howard Hughs Medical Institute obtained in July 2014, "AP Biology" from The College Board obtained in June 2007, "Biological Sciences" from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing obtained in September 2016, "Single Subject Teaching Credential" from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing obtained in September 2016, "General Science" from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Education obtained in July 2005, "Vocational Agriculture" from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Education obtained in June 2007, and "Biology" from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Education obtained in February 2006.
