Michael Joulie is a scientific officer at the Agence nationale de la recherche (ANR) since May 2019, focusing on the coordination of the International Consortium for Personalised Medicine (ICPerMed) to promote personalized medicine in health systems. Previously, Michael served as a scientific communication officer at Fondation ARC pour la recherche sur le cancer from April 2013 to June 2017 and completed a PhD at UMR 7216 - Epigénétique et Destin Cellulaire from October 2008 to September 2011, where responsibilities included designing and implementing science projects and conducting scientific communication and evaluation. Early experience includes a research fellow position at Institut Curie, an MSc internship at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and a BSc internship at Institut de Biologia Molecular de Barcelona. Michael holds a Doctorate in Biology and a Master's degree in Genetics from Université Paris Cité.
