Ajay Modha

Ajay Modha has worked in the aerospace industry since 2000. Ajay began their career as a PhD student at the University of Southampton in 2000, and then worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow there in 2004. In 2005, they joined QinetiQ as a Senior Structural Integrity Engineer, Senior Rotor Systems Engineer, and Aerodynamicist. In 2014, they moved to Facebook as an Aerospace Systems Engineer. In 2018, they joined the Connected Places Catapult as Principal Technologist, where they led all of the unmanned aviation activities and worked on collaborative projects with industry and government. In 2020, they joined ANRA Technologies as UK Operations, providing air traffic management and workflow orchestration software for autonomous systems.

Ajay Modha obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southampton between 2000 and 2004.
