Joseph Ganz

Joseph Ganz is an experienced engineering leader with a robust background in developing technology solutions to enhance financial services and consumer applications. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Ansa since April 2025, Joseph focuses on empowering merchants and marketplaces with advanced stored value wallets. Prior to this role, Joseph held key positions at notable companies including Stellar Development Foundation, where as Senior Engineering Manager, oversight was provided for the creation of a self-custody wallet aimed at global financial accessibility. Joseph also demonstrated expertise as Head of Engineering at Emergent Layer, driving the development of consumer-focused crypto applications, and as Staff Software Engineer at Uber, where significant backend service architecture contributed to substantial revenue growth. Joseph's technical skills have been honed through various engineering roles at Evidation, Womply, NetApp, and Coursegain, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.
