Tuan Tran

Tuan has a successful track record of building high throughput tools for biology. He obtained a BS in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his PhD from the UCSF-UC Berkeley Joint Program in Bioengineering. During his graduate work, he built droplet microfluidic platforms to screen millions of enzymes at a time. He then went on to Singular Genomics where he helped develop the hardware for a state of the art next generation sequencer. Now at Ansa, he is looking forward to building the next generation of gene synthesizers.
