Joe Platt

Joe Platt currently serves as the Assistant Director of Leadership Annual Giving at the University of Chicago Law School, where responsibilities include managing relationships with reunion-year alumni and organizing a team of volunteers to raise approximately $4.5 million annually. In addition, Joe Platt teaches at Anshe Emet Synagogue, passionately engaging in Jewish education. Previous roles include Deputy Finance Director for Friends of Frerichs, where Joe Platt managed donor databases and coordinated fundraising events, and Field Organizer for Mike Bloomberg 2020, focusing on volunteer recruitment and voter outreach. Joe Platt has held various positions related to finance and fundraising, including Finance Director for the 1st Ward Democratic Organization. Joe Platt holds a Bachelor’s Degree cum laude in Political Science from Tulane University.
