Julien Kirchgesner

Julien Kirchgesner serves as an Associate Professor at AP-HP, Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris since September 2021, affiliated with Sorbonne Université, INSERM, and the Pierre Louis Institute of Epidemiology and Public Health. Julien Kirchgesner is a member of several committees within the European Crohn's and Colitis Organisation, holding roles in both the Clinical Committee and as Chair of the Epidemiology Committee for 2023-2024. Additionally, Julien Kirchgesner works as an expert for CESREES and as an external expert for the French National Agency for Medicines and Health Products Safety, contributing to expert working groups on Pharmacoepidemiology and Gastroenterology. Previous experience includes a visiting researcher position at Harvard Medical School and a Fulbright Fellowship. Julien Kirchgesner holds a PhD in Epidemiology from Sorbonne Université and an MD in Gastroenterology from Université Paris Cité, complemented by a Clinical Research Fellowship in Pharmacoepidemiology from Harvard Medical School.
