Wenbing Hu

Wenbing Hu has a diverse work experience in the field of biopharmaceuticals. They currently hold the position of Senior Director at Ansun Biopharma, Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. from 2016 to 2022, progressing through various roles including Sr. Director, Analytical Development and Quality Control, Director, Analytical Development and Quality Control, Associate Director, Analytical Development and Quality Control, Group leader, Analytical Development and Quality Control, and Scientist, Analytical Development and Quality Control.

Before joining Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., Wenbing Hu completed their postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine from 2011 to 2016 as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Their research focused on using hydrogen deuterium exchange mass spectrometry (HDX-MS) to study protein structure, folding & dynamics, and map antibody epitopes on target antigens under the guidance of Professor S. Walter Englander.

Wenbing Hu pursued a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry & Chemical Biology from 2006 to 2011 at the Institute of Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences.
