Hui Zhang

Hui Zhang currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of ZAN, a Web3 technology company under Ant Group, and holds the position of Senior Director and Senior Staff Engineer at Ant Financial, overseeing the R&D and commercialization of blockchain technology. Previously, Zhang was the Chief Technology Officer of AntChain, which achieved significant recognition in the blockchain market from 2020 to 2022. Prior to joining Ant Group in 2017, Zhang was the Department Head at NEC Laboratories America, leading a team on R&D projects, and held several research roles at prominent institutions, including the University of Southern California and Bell Labs. Hui Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Hunan University.
