Tara Carne

Tara C. currently serves as the BHFSUK Chief Compliance Officer and MLRO at Booking Holdings since April 2022, and has also held the position of Head of Compliance for EMEA at Ant Group since October 2019. Tara's previous experience includes roles such as Head of Global Compliance at WorldFirst, Director and Chief Compliance Officer at American Express, and Compliance Manager at Mastercard. Tara's career began as an Investment Compliance Adjudicator at the Financial Ombudsman Service and included positions as Legal Assistant at Fisher Jones & Greenwood and the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organisation. Tara holds an LLB (Hons) 2.1 in Law from the University of Essex, which was completed in 2004 after attending Devonport High School for Girls.
