The Role

As an engineering manager you will oversee the teams of developers and work closely with the product management  to ensure successful delivery of software projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple teams of developers and oversee the development process, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality code.

• Collaborate with product management and design teams to ensure software projects are delivered on time and meet customer needs.

• Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.

• Work closely with the VP of Engineering to establish and maintain software development processes and standards.

• Continuously improve software development processes and tools to increase efficiency and productivity.

• Ensure the team is up-to-date with the latest PHP technology and industry trends & the quality of the delivered features.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design and architecture documents, coding standards, and project plans.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team and other departments as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of PHP technology

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.

• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
