Michael Zhou, MS, ASP, currently serves as a Project Manager at Antea Group, providing EHS manager support to a multinational technology company's Des Moines datacenter. Prior experience includes a NIOSH ERC Traineeship at Harvard University and a position as an ORISE NIOSH Industrial Hygiene Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where Michael designed exposure assessment protocols and co-authored a publication on hazardous exposures in the nail salon industry. Earlier roles included a Staff Research Associate at the Children’s Environmental Health Laboratory and Biorepository, where Michael directed a team in reorganizing biological samples and published research on phthalate exposure in pregnant women, along with a Research Assistant at the Nutrition Policy Institute focusing on community data collection. Michael holds a Master of Science in Exposure Assessment/Occupational Hygiene from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health - Epidemiology from the University of California, Berkeley.
