Steve Kinney

Steve Kinney has extensive experience in software engineering and development with a focus on embedded systems. Steve has worked for various companies, including Antenna Research Associates Inc., NEID, Carrier HVAC, Johnson Controls, Cray Inc., AMD, Renesas, Independent Engineering Consultant, Xcorporeal, and Star Trac. Steve has experience in firmware and software development, Linux integration, and resource management on HPC cluster servers. Steve has also worked on various hardware designs, including Atmel ARM7/9 SoC and Renesas Rainier SH7757 BMC hardware. Steve has demonstrated skills in UEFI maintenance, Linux kernel O.S., and Linux device drivers.

Steve Kinney attended SUNY Broome Community College from 1981 to 1983 and then went on to attend Rochester Institute of Technology from 1983 to 1986. At Rochester Institute of Technology, Steve's field of study was not specified. At some point after their initial attendance, Steve returned to Rochester Institute of Technology to study Electrical Engineering. It is unclear if they completed a degree in either field of study.
