Kelvin Shing

Kelvin Shing is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in process development and operations within the chemical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer at Antheia, Inc., Kelvin focuses on isolating small molecules from fermentation broth and improving process efficiency and safety. Previous roles include DSP Engineer III at Lygos, where Kelvin developed cannabinoid production processes and built a pilot plant, and DSP Engineer II, where lab-scale experiments were conducted to isolate organic acid specialty chemicals. Prior experience includes engineering positions at Hampton Creek, AMPAC Fine Chemicals, and Micromidas Inc., with responsibilities spanning from operating pilot plants to providing technical support for pharmaceutical production. Kelvin holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
