Walter Tamulis

Walter Tamulis is a highly experienced senior staff engineer specializing in manufacturing science and technology, currently working at Antheia, Inc. since March 2022. Prior to this role, Tamulis served as a staff process development engineer at Zymergen, managing fermentation scientists and overseeing process development for pilot and commercial-scale fermentation projects. Tamulis has held various engineering positions across multiple organizations, including BASF, BP Biofuels, and Butamax Advanced Biofuels, where responsibilities included managing large capital projects, optimizing bioprocess technologies, and leading teams in the development of enzyme and biofuel production processes.
