Junior Accountant, Development Accountant (calgary)

Do spreadsheets excite you? Do the phrases ‘It’s accrual world’ and ‘Be audit you can be’ make you laugh? If so, we are looking for you. 

You will  

• Prepare and process monthly A/P.
• Assist with the preparation of construction loan draw requests.
• File paid invoices and other project documentation.
• Prepare bank deposits and deposit vouchers.
• Ad-hoc analysis, quick pays and other special projects.

You are 

• Eager to welcome challenges and enjoy a variety of tasks.
• Known for your attention to detail.
• Friendly. Even in the middle of completing three tasks with tight deadlines and get interrupted.
• A self-starter with a strong work ethic who can’t wait to apply all you’ve learned.

You have 

• 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Proven your ability to work within a multiple entity and fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team.

• Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.

• Exceptional accuracy, communication and people skills.

• Real Estate industry experience (preferred).
