Tanya Lightbody

With more than 20 years of global experience in people and communication-related roles, Tanya Lightbody joined Anthesis in November 2021 as Chief People Officer and is a member of the Global Leadership Team.

With extensive experience working in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa and across multiple industries, Tanya has spent the last eight years supporting sustainability-focused businesses within private investment. Most recently, Tanya was the Group People and Performance Director at investment group, Treïs, where she successfully led a wide range of activities from strategic resourcing to remuneration structures and culture development.

Focused on change and transformation through values and culture across multiple jurisdictions, Tanya has also held the roles of Interim Group Chief People Officer at WorldRemit, Interim People Director at Ark, and Global People and Environment Director at People Against Dirty (the holdco for Method/Ecover), a Skagen Conscious Capital portfolio business. Tanya started her career in her native South Africa, working for McKinsey South Africa and USA, and Barclays Africa.
