Theo Ruers

Theo Ruers is the Director Medical Affairs and Research at Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Center for Early Cancer Diagnostics. Theo is the Co-founder of Bcon medical and Sirius Medical. Theo is also a Clinical Professor in Oncology at the University of Twente, specializing in Biomedical Imaging in Oncology. Additionally, Theo serves as the Head of The Division Surgical Oncology at The Netherlands Cancer Institute and is a GI Board member at EORTC. Theo previously held positions as an Associated Professor in Surgical Oncology at Radboudumc and as a Surgeon in Surgical Oncology at both Radboudumc and Maastricht University. Theo holds a PhD and M.Sc in Immunology, as well as a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree.
