Chas Larios

Chas Larios has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Chas is currently working at Anvilogic as the Vice President of Marketing. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Marketing | Unit 42 at Palo Alto Networks, where they were responsible for marketing's contribution to pipeline, revenue, and brand awareness for a portfolio of Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, and Security Consulting services. Chas also has experience at VMware as the Director of Solutions Marketing and the Director of Marketing Strategy and Data Analytics. At VMware, they led marketing efforts for the Security portfolio and was involved in defining VMware's Security narrative in the market. Before VMware, Chas was the Head of Product Marketing & Analyst Relations at Secureworks, where they led a team responsible for architecting the content strategy and optimizing the go-to-market motion for security services. At Dell Technologies, they held roles as Product Marketing Manager for Security and Product Manager for Dropbox and PocketCloud. Chas also worked at Sage as an Associate Product Manager and at Strategic Partnerships, Inc. as a Senior Associate providing consulting services. Chas began their career at Travis County as a Legal Analyst, where they helped establish the county's first felony mental health unit. Overall, Chas has demonstrated expertise in marketing, security, threat intelligence, and incident response throughout their career.

Chas Larios holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government, with a minor in Philosophy, from The University of Texas at Austin. Chas also earned a Master of Public Administration degree in Government Information Systems from Texas State University. Additionally, Chas completed the Chief Marketing Officer Program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Pragmatic Marketing Certified designation from Pragmatic Institute in August 2011.
