Jon Schemmel

Jon Schemmel has over 12 years of work experience. Jon began their career in 2008 as a Supply Chain Planner at Prysmian Group. Jon then spent a year at Stark Aerospace as a Program Manager for the Unmanned Aerial Systems Division. In 2011, they returned to Prysmian Group where they held various roles including Director, North America Power Distribution (Utility) Business Unit, Director, North America ICS Product Management and Supply Chain, Program Director, Transformation, Director, Latin America Sales, Marketing, and Product Management, Product Manager, Brazil Business Unit, Product Manager, North America Portable Cord, and Product Manager, North America Datacommunications. In 2015, they co-founded Buttonwood Tree Capital and in 2018 they became the CEO and Co-Founder of SBL Ventures. In 2020, they became an Accredited Investor and Limited Partner for Various Startups, Syndications, and Companies, as well as the Chief Executive Officer and Advisor for Midwest Dry CAST. In 2021, they joined Workplace Technology Center as a Consultant and Advisor, and Family Acres as a Member and Co-Founder. In 2022, they became an Advisory Board Member and Head of Industry for Anvl.

Jon Schemmel attended Mississippi State University from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Mathematics. In 2019 they completed an Advanced Leadership Program at SDA Bocconi.
