Marc Shiota

Marc Shiota has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Marc is currently the Head of Quality, Reliability, and Resilience at AnyRoad since September 2021. Previously, they worked as a Software Engineering Manager at TransUnion from March 2020 to September 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Software QA Manager at iovation Inc. from March 2018 to March 2020 and as a Senior Software QA Engineer from May 2014 to March 2018. Marc also worked as a Software QA Engineer at Janrain, Inc. from March 2013 to May 2014. Before that, they held the role of Staff SQA Engineer at ARRIS Group from March 2007 to March 2013. Marc's early career involved being a Software QA Engineer at Lucent Technologies from 1999 to 2005 and a Computer Help Desk Representative at Legacy Health System from 1997 to 1998.

Marc Shiota holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Systems Engineering from Humboldt State University, which they attained from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Physics from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1985 to 1990. Additionally, Marc Shiota has obtained a certification in Agile Foundations from LinkedIn in April 2020.
