Chris Wong

Chris Wong has a diverse work experience in the fields of software engineering, teaching, and research. Chris is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Anyscale since April 2021. Prior to that, Chris served as the Head Teaching Assistant at UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences (EECS) from July 2020 to May 2021, and as a Teaching Assistant from January 2020 to June 2020. Chris also gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at AppDynamics from June 2020 to August 2020. Chris worked as a Backend Developer and Data Entry Clerk at the Institute of Transportation Studies Berkeley from November 2018 to July 2020. Chris has interned as a Data Science Intern at BOLD in 2019 and as a Software Development Intern at California Path in 2019. Additionally, Chris served as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from August 2018 to May 2019. Chris started their professional career as a Math Tutor at Mathnasium - The Math Learning Center from August 2016 to August 2017.

Chris Wong attended Northgate High School from 2013 to 2017, but did not obtain any degree or field of study during this time. From 2017 to 2021, Chris attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Data Science. In addition to their formal education, Chris obtained several certifications, including the "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera in December 2019, the "Machine Learning" certification from Coursera in July 2019, and the "Google Analytics Individual Qualification" from Google in May 2018.
