Zaid Almahbobi

Zaid Almahbobi is a seasoned legal professional specializing in structured finance, procurement, and dispute resolution, currently serving as a Structured Finance Lawyer and Senior Legal Counsel at ANZ since July 2012. With a diverse background that includes roles as a Procurement Lawyer and a Dispute Resolution Lawyer at ANZ, Zaid has extensive experience advising key stakeholders on a wide range of financial and legal matters. Prior to ANZ, Zaid held various legal positions at Mayer Brown International LLP, EC Legal, Obst Legal, and Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, focusing on commercial litigation and dispute resolution in complex cross-border financial disputes, professional indemnity, and insurance cases. Zaid holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Melbourne and completed earlier studies in Law and Biomedical Science at Victoria University.
