Maia Patrie

Maia Patrie is an Manager, Talent Acquisition at Anzu Partners. Maia has a long and varied work history, starting with an internship in Manufacturing at IBM from May 2015 to September 2016. After that, they took on an internship in Quality Assurance at Akili Interactive from May 2017 to October 2017. Finally, they landed their current position as a Technical Solutions Engineer at Epic in September 2018, where they remained until September 2021.

In their role at Epic, Maia was responsible for guiding large hospital clients in planning, building, and rolling out projects that had positive clinical and financial outcomes. Maia also identified technical issues with EMR software and resolved 250+ complex client tickets per year. In addition, Maia developed code to extract data for the purpose of optimizing client workflows, and wrote SQL queries for required state regulations and for integration with third-party systems. Maia served as an internal area expert resource for the department and as a liaison with third party vendors in the prescription space. Finally, Maia facilitated 50+ interviews for user-experience studies and served as a group lead for our department's DEI initiative.

Now, as an Analyst for Talent Acquisition at Anzu Partners, Maia is using their skills and experience to help identify and recruit top talent for the company.

Maia Patrie has a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Boston University. Maia is certified in Clarity/Caboodle/Cogito Tools Reporting and Data Courier from Epic, and Willow Inpatient (Pharmacy) and Willow Inventory (Pharmacy Inventory Management) from Epic.
