Guillaume SZKOPINSKI

Guillaume SZKOPINSKI has a strong work experience in the field of cloud computing and infrastructure.

Guillaume started their career at PACT du Hainaut as an Administrator of Systems and Networks, where they set up the company's network infrastructure and implemented various IT services for employees.

Guillaume then joined AbsysTech as a Network and Systems Engineer, leading the technical team and managing production and R&D servers for various purposes.

After that, Guillaume worked at OVHcloud as a Systems and Networks Engineer, responsible for the management of thousands of production and R&D servers. Guillaume also played a key role in the design of the OVH CDN.

Guillaume then moved to Pictime Groupe (now Claranet) as a Solutions Architect, contributing to the development of architectural solutions.

Guillaume later joined Leroy Merlin as a Cloud Architect/DevOps, where they were involved in the management and support of the Data Component team's projects and the migration of applications.

Guillaume also worked at ADEO as a Cloud Architect/DevOps, focused on creating and maintaining Landing Zones on various cloud platforms, providing support, and developing APIs and modules.

Guillaume gained further experience at SFEIR Lille as a Cloud Architect, assisting major clients in migrating their applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and delivering training on infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices.

Guillaume'smost recent role was at Decathlon, where they served as a Product Owner for GCP, responsible for managing priorities and collaborating with different teams within the company.

Currently, Guillaume is working as a Site Reliability Engineer at AODocs, where they automate existing and upcoming infrastructure components using Terraform and APIs. Guillaume also provides training and support to product teams and takes on the additional role of Scrum Master.

Guillaume SZKOPINSKI has an education history in the field of Ingéniérie informatique (Computer Engineering). Guillaume began their education in 2001 at Lycée Gaston Berger, where they obtained their Bac S Option SVT degree. In the years that followed, Guillaume attended the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology from 2003 to 2004, earning their DUT Génie Informatique degree with a focus on programming and general computer development.

Continuing their academic journey, Guillaume enrolled at IIE Valenciennes in 2004 and completed a specialization in "Unix/C Réseau" before moving on to the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. At the Conservatoire, they pursued a Cursus Ingénieur Réseaux, Systèmes et Multimédia degree from 2006 to 2009.

Guillaume's interest in cloud computing led him to AWS, where they obtained certifications in AWS Solution Architect Associate in the years 2016 to 2020 and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional in 2018. Guillaume further expanded their expertise by pursuing a GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google Cloud Platform in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Guillaume also obtained various certifications. Guillaume earned the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation in November 2021. Guillaume also achieved the GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google Cloud Platform and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification from Amazon Web Services in 2020 and 2018, respectively.
