Dr. Sultan Alfawaz

Dr. Sultan Alfawaz, P.P. OTD, MA, BSc OTR/L, is an esteemed leader and advocate in the field of occupational therapy, with extensive experience in sensory integration practices. Currently serving as Chairperson and President of the International Council For Education in Ayres Sensory Integration (ICEASI), Dr. Alfawaz focuses on promoting best practices for Autism and related developmental conditions. In addition to roles such as Leadership Coordinator of the Children & Youth Special Interest at the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and Director of the Ayres Sensory Integration Certification Program at Alfaisal University, Dr. Alfawaz has founded a consultancy, Makkin, and collaborates with various organizations to enhance occupational therapy services and education in the Gulf region. Dr. Alfawaz's educational background includes advanced degrees from the University of Southern California and Brunel University London, underscoring a strong foundation in occupational therapy.
