Allan Sterling

Allan Sterling is a highly experienced Senior Corrosion Protection Engineer at APA Group since June 2018, overseeing NSW assets. Prior to this role, Allan served as Principal Engineer at Anode Engineering Pty Ltd Australia from August 2007 to June 2018, focusing on cathodic protection and corrosion. Leadership experience includes serving as President of The Australasian Corrosion Association in 2013 and as a board member from December 2012 to November 2017. Allan's earlier positions include Corrosion Engineer at CORPREV (2003-2007), Manager of Corrosion Control Services at Delco Australia (2002-2003), and various roles in Corrpro/Wilson Walton International from 1996 to 2002, including Qld Business Manager and Senior Corrosion Engineer. Initial career experience includes working as an Analyst at SciEng Consultants from 1994 to 1996. Allan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering and a Master of Engineering Science in Corrosion from The University of Queensland, as well as certifications from ACA as a Corrosion Technologist and from NACE as a CP Specialist.
