Kenny Ng

Kenny Ng has had a diverse range of work experiences in the electrical and instrumentation engineering field. Kenny started their career as a Graduate Electrical Engineer & Estimator at PowerElectric Switchboards in 2012. Kenny then worked as a Graduate Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer at Fyfe Pty Ltd from January 2013 to August 2014.

In September 2013, Kenny joined Santos Ltd as a Project Engineer, a role they held until August 2014. Kenny then moved on to LogiCamms, where they worked as an Electrical Engineer from July 2016 to June 2018. During this time, they primarily focused on design consulting in the Hydrocarbons space, particularly instrumentation design and site-level LV distribution design. Kenny then took on the role of Senior Electrical Engineer at LogiCamms from July 2018 to June 2019.

From June 2018 to June 2019, Kenny also worked as an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer at APA Group. Kenny then continued their journey at APA Group, holding various positions such as Senior Facilities I&E Engineer from June 2022 to March 2023, Team Lead Facilities Engineering Instrumentation & Electrical (Acting Team Lead) from April 2023 to August 2023, and currently, they hold the position of Team Lead Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, starting in September 2023.

Throughout their career, Kenny has demonstrated skills in leading teams, coordinating cross-functional collaborations, and providing support and guidance in the field of electrical and instrumentation engineering.

Kenny Ng obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from The University of Queensland, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Registered Professional Engineer awarded by the Business Licensing Authority in June 2023, and being a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) awarded by BPEQ in June 2021. Other certifications include EEHA Hazardous Area Classification & Design from Competency Training in February 2016, Cert IV in Project Management Practice from Competency Training in July 2015, EEHA Hazardous Area Installation & Maintenance from Competency Training in October 2014, and FS Engineer (TÜV Rheinland) - Functional Safety from TÜV Rheinland Group in June 2017.
