Chiara Artico

Chiara Artico has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Chiara started their career as a Waitress at Ristorante Ca’ dei Gobj during a gap year after graduation, where they developed essential skills in time management, teamwork, and flexibility. Chiara then worked as an Artistic Gymnastics Coach at Federazione Ginnastica d'Italia, where they trained and prepared athletes for regional and national competitions.

In 2020, Chiara contributed to the Student Strategy & Security Journal and The Security Distillery as a Content Contributor, showcasing their knowledge and expertise in security topics. Following that, they gained experience as an Administrative and Research Intern at the George C. Marshall Center, where they assisted with administrative tasks and conducted research.

In 2021, Chiara worked as a Political Risk and Threat Intelligence Analyst at Hozint - Horizon Intelligence, where they analyzed political risks and provided threat intelligence. Chiara also contributed to APCO Worldwide as a Project Assistant in 2022.

Chiara'smost recent role was as a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE). During this time, they provided support in amending international agreements, drafted export certificates, assisted with emergency measures, and supported crisis management efforts. Chiara also worked closely with EU and third-party governments, attended meetings with delegations and Ukrainian authorities, and collaborated on workshops and technical reports.

Chiara Artico completed a joint master's degree program in Security, Intelligence, and Strategic Studies from 2019 to 2021. Chiara spent the first semester at the University of Glasgow, the second semester at Dublin City University, and the third semester at Charles University.

Prior to that, Chiara obtained a bachelor's degree in Studi internazionali from Università di Trento from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, Chiara studied Political Science and Government at Universidad de Santiago de Compostela from 2016 to 2017.
