Chris Torrens

Chris Torrens currently serves as Managing Director for Greater China at APCO, a position held since March 2024. Previously, Chris held various leadership roles at Control Risks from 2006 to February 2024, including Partner and Director. Additional experience includes serving as Associate Director of Advisory at PwC and Partner at Access Asia Limited. Chris began a career in communications and research with positions such as Freelance Correspondent at the Economist Intelligence Unit and Strategic Planner at Ogilvy & Mather. Academic credentials include an Executive MBA from China Europe International Business School and a BA Honours in Modern Chinese Studies from the University of Leeds, complemented by studies at Fudan University.
