Project Assistant - Government Relations & Public Affairs at APCO Worldwide

Claudia Fiore has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Claudia started their career as an intern at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in 2021, where they supported the Normative and Policy Team in advancing the implementation of protocols on human trafficking and migrant smuggling. Claudia also played a role in organizing inter-governmental meetings.

In the same year, Claudia worked as a Global Support Coordinator at Fundación Multitudes. Their responsibilities included liaising between the Civil Society Pillar, government representatives, and other partners of the Community of Democracies. Claudia conducted research and analysis on democracy, human rights, and the enforcement of the Warsaw Declaration. Claudia also provided administrative, advocacy, and legal support.

Prior to that, Claudia served as a Junior Political Researcher at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean in 2020. Claudia conducted research and drafting activities on a range of topics, including human rights, artificial intelligence, agrifood sector trends during the COVID-19 pandemic, and stability in the MENA region. Claudia supported inter-institutional communications and developed background papers and presentations.

Claudia's work experience also includes an internship at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in 2018. Claudia supported the Policy Branch in drafting concept notes, briefs, studies, and policy guidelines related to internally displaced persons, refugees, international security, and the protection of civilians in armed conflict.

Currently, Claudia is a Project Assistant in Government Relations & Public Affairs at APCO Worldwide, starting in 2022.

Claudia Fiore completed their education history as follows:

From 2018 to 2020, Claudia Fiore pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Human Rights and Multi-level Governance at Università degli Studi di Padova.

In 2019, they participated in a Semester Abroad program at Boston University.

From 2013 to 2017, Claudia Fiore earned their Bachelor's degree in Political Sciences and International Relations from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.

In 2016, they also took part in a Semester Abroad program at the University of Ljubljana.
